NEWS RELEASE 07/10/2008

Poly-Pacific Signs Gasification Licensing Agreement

EDMONTON, ALBERTA, July 10, 2008 (Marketwire via COMTEX News Network) -- Poly-Pacific International Inc. ("Poly-Pacific" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE: PMB) (OTCBB: PLYPF) (BERLIN: A0LGDN) (FRANKFURT: POZ) is pleased to announce that it has signed a licensing agreement with Energy Quest Inc. (OTCBB: EQST). Under the terms of this agreement, the Company will have the rights to commercialize Energy Quest’s Gasification technologies in the Province of Ontario, Canada for a period of ten (10) years.

Energy Quest Inc. (OTCBB: EQST), is an emerging leader in the development and production of hydrogen-enriched alternative fuels in an environmentally responsible manner. The Energy Quest gasification technologies uses gasification processes to convert any carbon based material into a synthetic gas. Gasification uses heat and pressure which converts any carbon containing materials into synthetic gas composed primarily of carbon monoxide and hydrogen which has a large number of uses. Gasification adds value to low or negative value feedstock’s by converting them to marketable fuels. Electrical production via gasification of abundant carbonaceous feed-stocks such as municipal solid waste in landfills, coal, lignite, petroleum coke, wood waste, plastics, is the easiest use of a gasifier. The reason for this fact is that modern turbine generators are available that are capable of running on relatively low BTU and relatively dirty gas. This requirement makes the gasification equipment much less capital intensive.

Throughout the Province of Ontario the application of this technology would include municipal and industrial solid waste, tires, forestry, pulp and paper waste.

Wilf Ouellette, CEO of Energy Quest, Inc. commented:

"We look forward to the opportunity to showcase our gasification technology in a market and work with a company like Poly Pacific allowing us to address serious waste disposal issues which will serve as a model for future projects in the area. It will utilize PyStR™ and the M-2 Gasifier technology, and will demonstrate the technology's usefulness in dealing with the growing problem of overcrowded landfills and allow the company to reclaim valuable engineered resins and produce other revenue opportunities from waste."

Mr. Randy Hayward, President of Poly-Pacific states:

“The Energy Quest gasification technologies are expected to play a key role in the Company’s additional goal of reclaiming waste from existing landfill sites and transforming this into power, such as electricity or syngas.”

Energy Quest is a diversified energy company with interests in both conventional and renewable energy sources. Its mission is to bring new technologies to bear to enhance existing energy production as well as developing new energy sources. The immediate objective of the company is to secure energy projects using the PyStR(TM) and M2 gasifier and the acquisition of existing, profitable alterative energy.
